Research Advisory Committee
The Research Advisory Committee is comprised of representatives from each of the Sections. The Committee's purpose is to advise the Department Chairman's Advisory Committee on research matters and provide recommendations for Departmental research policy, including assignment of research space and other research-related resources.
The Committee reviews proposals submitted for the Department's Internal Grant Program and Large Equipment Program and provides recommendations for funding to the Chairman. In addition, the Research Committee sponsors the Friday Surgery Research Conference and is responsible for the planning and coordination of the Moses Gunn Annual Research Conference. Committee members are appointed to a one year term.
