 Emeritus OfficeThe Department of Surgery emeritus faculty office was established in 2001 as a focal point for emeritus faculty activities and to serve as a liaison for this distinguished group of surgeons with faculty, residents, students, University, Medical School and other medical and non-medical parties. The Office of the Emeritus Faculty provides administrative assistance to department emeritus faculty in support of continuing scholarly pursuits, research writing and other activities. Facilities include complete secretarial service, computer access, office space and equipment, limited file and storage space and a fully equipped conference room. The office is also the central forum and repository of historical information about the Department of Surgery and its illustrious past. Our emeritus faculty are active participants in Department, Medical School and National functionary as well as serving in education and mentoring capacities.
