Education and research have always been and will continue to be an area where great attention is placed. Each of our residents is a part of six year integrated program which presents a broad experience in both clinical practice and research. With this knowledge, each plastic surgeon trained at Michigan is equipped with the competence and understanding to best serve each patient.

The commitment to patient care is not only shared by all the physicians, but also carried through and implemented by the collective efforts of our entire faculty and support staff. These are the values and ideals the guide us at the University of Michigan.
