Academic Development: Gender differences in AAAs

Dr. DiMusto will be investigating the gender difference in abdominal aortic aneurysms at the cellular and molecular level. This will be done in a mouse model using a series of hormone manipulations both surgical and pharmacological as well as aortic transplantation. The work will be done in the Jobst Vascular Lab, with Dr. Gilbert Upchurch, Jr serving as his mentor.
