Dr. Reoma spent 2 years in a large animal physiology lab working on research related to Cardiothoracic, Transplant, and Pediatric surgery. Projects included Development and Testing of an Thoracic Artificial Lung for Implantation, Development of an Artificial Placenta system for prematurity, Development of a Total Liquid Ventilation for ARDS, The use of ECMO to resuscitate Donors following cardiac death for transplantation, and Organ Culture perfusion and preservation technology.
