Veterans Administration Ann Arbor Health System (VAAAHS)

The VAAAHS is a VA Tertiary Care Referral Center, located approximately 1 mile from the University Hospital complex, with regular shuttle service. The facility is very modern, with a new hospital building completed approximately 7 years ago.

The VAAAHS treats nearly 22,000 inpatients per year and, during 2002, approximately 187,000 outpatient visits were provided. VAAAHS operates 98 acute beds, 45 extended care beds and houses 9 operating rooms.
